“Before The Fall”

It was a peaceful cloudy day. Fall was on the horizon, rumbling in the clouds & twinkling in the leaves. I painted this scene on the river bank, catching the start of the fall as it nestled in the valley for its annual visit. I painted till the rain took over. Safe from the thundering storm, I added the final touches in my studio where I would inevitably nestle in for the months to come.
