This piece is made from coastal Oregon mud, ash from burnt birch, charcoal from pine, Inky Cap mushroom ink, turquoise and copper oil paint; topped with linseed oil, Lavender sprigs, St John’s Wort petals, and a butterfly wing found in a dry reservoir in Montana.
